Nikki DeVault, LPC

At Nikki DeVault Therapy, I’m a therapist in West Chester, PA specializing in EMDR Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Anxiety Therapy, and Parental Stress for adults who want to finally feel calm, confident, and at peace within themselves.

I offer both in-person therapy in West Chester and online therapy for clients across Pennsylvania, making it easier to access care that fits your life. My trauma-informed, evidence-based approach blends EMDR with mindfulness and body-based methods to help you heal the root causes of anxiety, overwhelm, and self-criticism—not just manage the symptoms.

Why Choose In-Person Therapy?

Compassionate In-Person Therapy in West Chester, PA For You!

There’s something powerful about stepping into a calm, dedicated space where your only focus is you. At my West Chester office, therapy becomes a pause from the noise of daily life — a place to slow down, breathe, and connect face-to-face in a way that feels grounding and restorative.

Some benefits of in-person therapy include:

  • A grounding environment — being in a peaceful, intentionally designed space helps your nervous system settle.

  • Fewer distractions — it’s easier to stay present without screens, tech issues, or interruptions.

  • Subtle connection cues — eye contact, tone, and body language often deepen the therapeutic bond.

  • A symbolic “container” for healing — leaving home to come to therapy can make it feel like a sacred time set aside for you.

  • Flexibility and privacy — for some, the physical office offers more confidentiality than home-based telehealth.

Many clients find in-person therapy to be a grounding complement to online sessions — both approaches can be deeply effective, depending on what feels right for you.
