Nikki DeVault (She/Her), LPC

Hi, I’m Nikki, and I get it. I’m here to help you…

* Move past the “do more self-care” advice and find real rest that leaves you feeling calm and recharged.

* Quiet that harsh inner voice so you can feel more confident, kind to yourself, and at peace with the past.

* Trust your own voice, set boundaries without guilt, and stay connected in ways that feel good and real.

* Feel steady through the ups and downs, grounded in yourself, and ready to live with more ease and confidence.

You’ve carried this long enough. Let’s lighten the load - together.

The Heart Behind the Work

I work with adults who’ve spent years managing anxiety, self-doubt, or the lingering effects of trauma—and are ready to finally feel at peace in their own skin. I know firsthand how it feels to carry the weight of “holding it all together,” and I bring both my lived experience and my training as a Licensed Professional Counselor into the room with deep compassion. My approach blends EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and body-based healing to help you reconnect with calm, confidence, and clarity.

You’re safe here. Every part of your story, your history, your identity—belongs.

There’s nothing more meaningful to me than watching clients break free from the weight of old stories and step into a life that actually feels like theirs.

I’m not here to fix you—because you were never broken. I’m here to walk alongside you as you rediscover the parts of yourself that have been good and whole all along. Healing begins in the moments you no longer have to try so hard—when you can finally exhale, soften, and simply be.

The Values Behind the Work

Stacked rocks on sandy beach with ocean in background.

Authenticity

Every human deserves to feel seen, safe, and accepted exactly as they are. Real healing happens when we can show up as our whole selves—messy, imperfect, and human.

Compassion

Every person has parts that are worthy of kindness, not criticism. I meet each part of you with warmth and understanding, honoring the ways you’ve learned to survive.

Inclusivity & Affirmation

Every identity and experience belongs. My practice is a space where all backgrounds, orientations, and expressions are affirmed and celebrated.

Curiosity

Every story holds meaning. Instead of asking “what’s wrong with me?”, we explore with gentle curiosity what your mind and body have been trying to tell you.

Collaboration

Every relationship thrives on honesty and shared trust. Therapy is something we build together—you bring your story, I bring my training, and together we create space for growth.

The Person Behind the Work

When I’m not in the office, I’m with my husband, our three kids, and a small jungle of plants that seem to multiply overnight. And if you know me, you know there’s always coffee involved — hot, iced, or reheated three times. It’s basically my love language and my constant companion through it all.

I’m a recovering perfectionist and lifelong self-critic who’s learning (still!) that good enough really is enough. I love getting lost in a good book, cheering at basketball games, or disappearing into a craft project or new recipe just to see how it turns out.

It may come as a surprise, but I also have a soft spot for scary movies, creepy podcasts, and a good ghost story — there’s something about exploring what we fear that feels both thrilling and oddly grounding.

I’m the person you’ll find at a party in the corner having a deep, funny, and probably overly honest conversation with two people instead of mingling with twenty. I collect shells, rocks, and anything that feels like the earth — little reminders to stay grounded.

And if I’m anywhere near the coast, you’ll catch me staring at the ocean, breathing deeper, remembering what matters. Those small, grounded moments remind me why connection means so much — in life, and in the work I do every day.
